Convenient Public Service for the Bihari Diaspora

The Bihar Lok Seva Kendra operating at Bihar Foundation, Mumbai provides a dedicated and hassle-free RTPS service for Bihari residents living in Maharashtra. The centre was formally inaugurated by Shri Chanchal Kumar, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Bihar and Principal Secretary, General Administration Department.

It serves as a special facilitation point where Non-Resident Biharis (NRBs) can easily apply for essential documents such as Caste Certificate, Residential Certificate, Income Certificate, Character Certificate, and other RTPS services without needing to visit Bihar.

This initiative strengthens the government’s commitment to supporting the Bihari diaspora by offering reliable, transparent, and accessible citizen services outside the state.
